Installation & Service Technologies is a nation-wide company that provides project management, software/hardware sales, installation and break/fix trouble-shooting for IT equipment that run restaurants; everything from point-of-sale equipment and point-of-sale software, to the back office computers/servers/racks to CCTV security systems and all cable management. We have an immediate opening for a Field Installation Technician.
IST is a rapidly growing company in search of dedicated, hard-working individuals who want to develop themselves and grow with our company. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys working in installation/repair of computers, CCTV equipment or cable management. If your background is in installing and/or troubleshooting computers – you could have what we are looking for!
Our Field Technicians are based out of their homes and go directly to customer sites providing installation, technical support, maintaining and troubleshooting critical point-of-sale (POS), CCTV, and/or PC/LAN equipment.
There is travel involved with this position, as all work is performed on-location. Some travel outside of your surrounding area may also be required at times. This is not a contract position nor are we a contract company. We do a wide variety of projects and service work for both the end users (local restaurants) and the equipment manufacturers of the hardware and software.

Requirements:
- Prior experience with Point-of-Sale equipment is a plus, but not required
- IT certifications are a plus, but not required
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends, travel is required
- Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license at all times
- Ability to be self-supervising working in a virtual capacity
- Must be able to pass a background check including: drug screening, criminal background check, possession of a valid drivers license and insurance
- Must be detail oriented having the ability to write reports, records, and correspondence
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, high energy environment
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
